God of New Beginnings,
The 2024-2025 school year upon us and with that comes excitement, nerves, and hopes we pray fulfilled. We thank You for working in and through our tangled emotions.
We pray that our children would grow in knowledge and skill. Help them to build meaningful connections with their peers and school staff. Please fill students with confidence in moments of uncertainty and gift them the focus they need to learn. May they find joy in new experiences and shine your love to everyone they meet through inclusion, kindness and respect.
Bless parents and caring adults with peace as they send their child(ren) off. Please fill them with the wisdom needed to help their student(s) navigate tricky times and help them to savor the celebration moments that pass all too quickly. Give parents and carking adults a good read on their child(ren), God, and keep the important conversation channels open.
We thank you for educators who have been planning for our children and designing for them an exciting year of growth and discovery. Their heart for youth and innovative mindset creates fertile ground for learning in these times. And, their love and influence over our children makes them priceless in our village. It takes a special person to choose this path, and we are thankful these educators did. Enable them with what they need each day.
There is so much to look forward to and we can't wait to see it all unfold. Please keep everybody safe. And, thank you for being with us always.
