Yes, you.
You are loved.
Tomorrow the calendar broadcasts Valentine's Day. Some will get flowers and go on dates. Others will not. It is a solitary date that our culture translates as the haves and have nots. Who has love worth celebrating and who doesn't.
But we couldn't have it more wrong.
You see, you were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) by a God who gave you purpose (Ephesians 2:10). The Lord, who lacks nothing felt it important for you to be here. And then, in loving you so deeply, God sent his son to die for you to forgive sin and redeem you for all eternity (John 3:16). God knows the number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30), takes delight in you and even rejoices over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).
I don't know what your day looks like tomorrow. But whether you've felt valued and claimed by a romantic other you ARE valued and claimed by God.
You get to rest in a forever love and bask in His captivation.
