I'm so excited that you've come to hang out with me in this space. It is truly the realization of a dream!
As a mom passionate about infusing faith-filled fun in our home to make it a richer part of our everyday experience AND given my years in congregational ministry where I used my gifts of creativity and organization to create programming that connects faith to lived life because there is so little for created products to guide modern ministry, I now share materials that you can use in your home or church context that will walk you through meaningful experiences to give faith with a pulse.
So what might you find here?
First, I'm so excited to have just released my mother/elementary age daughter DUO Bible Study book! I once created a mother/elementary daughter dance line around topics statistically important in the life of an elementary age girl. Now I bring those topics (Mother/Daughter DUO, Media, Friendship, Words, Beauty and Purpose) to you in a fun Bible Study format through the lens of God's perfect Word. Each chapter includes DUOble Study, DUOble Fun (an activity or craft) and DUOble Prayer. I pray this creates moments that matter for you!
In the Materials section you will find a kick start to Cross+Gen planning with one for each month of the year. These downloads will work in your home as parent/grandparent/nanny/small group and child activities or as organized events in your church. Each is an activity with discussion and a super fun connection to faith. Soon I'll be adding a Christmas program script as well as some Bible lesson ideas and one time activities.
All of these above items support parents and ministry leaders/volunteers who want to provide faithful experiences but aren't sure how to do it by giving you the words, guidance, and needed tools to make it happen!
If you work in a congregation and need help planning an event or larger programming goals, I'd be happy to act as a consultant for you. During my time as a Director in CYF Ministry, I frequently fielded calls from congregations seeking direction and I'm passionate about working with others to help make goals for their church come to life. I'll listen to your needs and then will work on a per hour service fee to come up with a plan that you can then implement.
