Before my girls awoke today I made a quick trip to the store. My calendar told me it's National Donut Day and the Nesdahls love their donuts. I knew it would be the perfect sweet surprise!
During my years in congregational ministry I did a Donuts with Mom and Dad event, allowing welcome for all. It included a photo booth, games, a craft, and, of course, donuts! There was some fruit, too, to accommodate allergies + make us all feel a little healthier :)
