Lord God, today we lift our hearts up to You in prayer for the precious children You’ve entrusted to us. Each is a treasure.
Comforter God, these new school years are bittersweet. We are grateful for the excitement that comes in new opportunities for growth yet mourn time passed. Help us navigate these emotions.
Saving God, we pray our students, parents, teachers and Christian leaders’ hearts would be led by You. That in the midst of all the voices, You would reign the strongest guide. May all lean into Your direction each day.
Teaching God, we pray over learning. That teachers and Christian leaders would have the energy they need to effectively communicate the wisdom they seek to impart and that our children will choose respect and focus to gain all that is shared.
Loving God, You choose love for us all the time. Thank you for this gift and personal goal it gives us all. May we emulate Your love in the home, school, and church through kind words and thoughtful action.
Thank you for being our light and our hope. Our comforter and our defender. We lift this up to You, Jesus.
Amen.
